Editorial Design — Brand Identity
Outline is a fashion magazine developed around the idea of where luxury fashion and streetwear intersect. Outline looks through the lens of the minimalist design language that high fashion is known for, and explores the point where it starts melding with the expressive elements of psychedelia & brutalism that have become a focal point of streetwear culture.
The identity of Outline is a further exploration of this idea, featuring a modular logo that can blend between being modest and refined, to something more expressive and playful.

From the initial magazine spreads, the branding was expanded to provide a full identity for Outline, featuring a scalable wordmark and a modular logo that can be depicted in various line weights to best suit its application.
In contrast to the refined hairline logo and wordmark featured in the branding collateral and magazine, the consumer facing end of the brand depicts a bold and more playful version of the companies branding. The apparel line is intended to represent the more casual end of the Outline brand, drawing its influences from streetwear and providing accessible options to a broader audience.
